Roya Martinek – Owner/Operator
I am Roya Martinek the owner of Ilderton Bizzy Bees Day Care Center. I am honored to provide such a service for my community. I’ve been in Canada since 1995. I graduated from grade 12 in 1997 and in 1999 graduated as a PSW (personal support worker). While I attended school I worked in the restaurant industry and worked my way up from dishwasher to restaurant management. I moved to Ilderton in 2002 with my husband Michael. In 2007 we had our biggest surprise, our son Stefan. I love to be active and work closely within my community. I have lots of friends and enjoy spending time with them. I also enjoy organizing the Ilderton Craft Show, which is held twice a year before Mother’s Day and Christmas.
Amanda Graff – Supervisor
Hi! My name is Amanda Graff. I graduated from King’s University with my Bachelor of Arts in Childhood and Social Institutions in 2015. I then graduated from Fanshawe College with my Early Childhood Education diploma in 2016 and became a RECE shortly after. I worked with London Bridge Childcare Services from June 2016 – June 2018 in different positions such as supply, preschool educator, and infant educator. I Joined the Bizzy Bee’s team in August 2018 in the preschool room.
Ever since I was young I have known that I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives. My favourite thing about helping children to learn is when they have that ‘aha’ moment; when a child has been working on something for a long time and finally gets it. I love being able to share with them their pride and happiness.
In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, decorating cakes, and doing anything crafty. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and being with my family.
On October 1st, 2018 I took on the role as Head Supervisor and very excited to be part of a great team here at Bizzy Bees Daycare!
Kelsey Dobson – RECE / Toddler Teacher

I graduated from the University of Guelph with my Bachelor’s Degree in Child, Youth and Family, I love working with children and youth of all ages and abilities and have been for about 11 years now. I am a supporter of full inclusion to help all children grow to their fullest potential. I am also a full Spectrum Doula and received my Certificate in Doula Studies from Fanshawe College. I really enjoy working alongside individuals and families of all shapes and sizes as they progress through their reproductive journeys. I am so excited to learn and grow with everyone here at Bizzy Bees!
Sarah Fowler – RECE / Preschool Teacher
My name is Sarah Fowler. I am a graduate from Conestoga College Early Childhood Education Program (ECE). I enjoyed school so much that I decided to return for another year at Fanshawe for their Autism and Behavioral sciences program.
I am originally from Cambridge Ontario and have just recently moved to the South Huron area in 2016 making me a big Kitchener Ranger Fan!!! I have two dogs at home and they are named Cooper (Yorkie/Maltese) and Maggie (MiniDash hound) who I love dearly.
In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, go on long trail walks, travelling and hanging out with friends when I can make it to Cambridge. Oh yes I am also known for my consistent shopping adventures.
I have known and I have wanted to work with children for a very long time and am very excited to be here at Bizzy Bees Day Care Center where I can further develop my knowledge/skills as an educator.
Finally, I would like to say that I am excited about getting to know each and every family here at the center and can not wait to support your child’s learning and development throughout their time here.
My name is Lisa Nightingale. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Diploma in Business Administration from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Over the years I have taken several courses that specialize in Early Childhood Development and am currently working towards my Early Childhood Education Diploma through Loyalist College.
Prior to working at Bizzy Bees Daycare Center, I spent 11 years working with families and young children from Middlesex County and surrounding area, as a support facilitator. During this time, I delivered a number of literacy programs to assist children with school readiness skills, as well as facilitating other programs that foster independence, self-regulation, and positive social skills. I have a genuine love for working with children as they are often the best teachers in the room.
I live in Ilderton with my wonderful husband, three fantastic kids and our beloved dog Winnie!
